Chili Cook-Off Rules

EVENT RULES & DETAILS

  • Each entry can be created by either an INDIVIDUAL or by a TEAM

  • No canned or store-bought chili or mixes

  • Canned beans instead of dry beans are allowed

  • Public tasting and voting is from 5-6pm

  • Blind anonymous judging to be done by all attendees

  • Chili entries are limited to the first 10 confirmed registrations

CONTESTANT REQUIREMENTS

  • $10 entry fee per team or individual

  • Each entry must arrive fully cooked, hot & ready-to-serve, hot delivered in a crockpot. Please bring a ladle or spoon for serving also

  • Each entry must prepare at least 1 gallon of Chili

  • Please bring a list of ingredients used for allergy purposes. If peanuts or peanut oil is used, please display a warning.

  • Bring an extension cord

  • Table displays are encouraged, pick a theme!

  • Event day arrival time is 4:00 pm to set up and must ready to serve by 4:45 pm

  • Contestant setup location will be made upon arrival on the event day.
